Free guided tours of the Preserve, 55 Palmetto Bay Rd., are held weekly on Tuesday morning led by a Master Birder who will discuss the history and wildlife found in the 50-acre nature preserve. No reservations required. Please gather in the parking lot by 8:30 a.m. Water, binoculars, and insect repellant are recommended. The walks are free to the public, but donations are appreciated. Reservations are not required.

Jo Dye, a well-known wildlife artist, will display a collection of wildlife collages in Now & Then…, on exhibit at the Art League of Hilton Head. The collection consists of depictions of wildlife alive with bright colors, excellent composition and surprising detail. Meet the artist at the opening reception on Wed., May 15, 5-7 p.m. and join the artist on a gallery walk through her work from 11 a.m.-noon on Thur., May 30. The exhibit, opening reception and gallery walk are free and open to the public. This state-of -the-art gallery provides the finest exhibit space with high tourist and community visibility.
