A new shop has just opened in the Sea Pines Centre … Sea Love Hilton Head, a candle bar and boutique. The ribbon cutting ceremony took place Friday, January 12th, 2024 and a friend and I got to. experience the process on opening day … it was so much fun!!!
Scented candles and reed diffusers have surged in popularity in recent years … we all know that scents transform any space and mood, but for true customization, personalized scented candles and diffusers take the experience to a whole new level. More and more people are discovering the joy and benefits of creating home scents that they themselves curated. I has had the wonderful pleasure of taking part in making both a large candle and a reed diffuser. So exciting!!!
This place is magical! From the moment you enter, you are enveloped with a soft inviting scent. During your Sea Love Hilton Head experience, you get to discover various scent blends and take notes on how they make you feel. You will learn to layer fragrances and begin to understand how these notes interact. Tweaking the fragrance by adjusting levels of certain notes can profoundly impact the overall effect of a more complex blend.
We had a truly hands-on experience of creating our own custom scented products. The unique process allowed us to partake in an inviting and fun experience. As we sat at the candle bar enjoying a glass of wine a team member, or as I call them, “scent science advisor” helped us create our perfect candle and diffuser. Our scent expert, Grace, helped guide us through the process of crafting our own signature scent. This handmade process resulted in items that look, feel, and smell luxurious.

This new shop lets you now easily create your own candle and/or diffuser based on your own tastes and preferences … you get to create a signature scent unique to you … your decor, your mood, or your activity.
